About Kimahri . . .
Kimahri is a professional performer of Middle Eastern dance, also known as bellydance, raks sharqi or dans oriental. Her passion for Middle Eastern music is the foundation for her charismatic performance style.
Kimahri's Middle Eastern dance performance credits include winning the East Coast Classic and Golden Navel Bellydance Competitions, performing at the "Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs" exhibit at Chicago's Field Museum, being featured on WFLD-TV FOX Chicago, and in the Chicago Tribune and Daily Herald. She is featured in the Cairo Raks Chicago DVD (starring Aida Nour and Karim Nagi).
As head of KB Entertainment, Kimahri produces Middle Eastern dance events and bellydance workshops, student shows and is the Executive Program Director of the MAQAM® Challenge competitions. Kimahri travels in the U.S. and Canada as a guest artist and bellydance workshop presenter and currently lives and dances in the greater Fairfield County/NYC area.
